RUNWAY VIXENS
Runway Vixens is having a party all weekend celebrating their one year on the web!!! There's games and prizes...chats and FUN. Everyone is welcome, won't you join us?? Saying Goodbye to Summer
My gals went back to school on August 17th but I know most other gals started more recently. September 22nd marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Time just seems to fly by. Already the holidays are fast approaching. I will be 10 times more busy than I am now, which, believe me, seems near impossible! LOL But what fun is life, if not busy? =]
GUPS will be starting up at Girls United again pretty soon. Won't you come over and follow? If you are not familiar with it, it's a Polyvore Set creation contest. Each week the contestants are given specific criteria they must use in creating their set, and each week the contestant with the lowest score is eliminated :( The last designer standing....is the WINNER! It's always a lot of fun and since last season I was a judge, I decided to try my hand at contestant this time around. It's gonna be tough as there are some really incredible set designers out there! So please stop by and cheer me on! =]

Runway Vixens!
Ok I must do a feature on this website...no this COMMUNITY that I am a part of. It's called Runway Vixens! It's a wonderful place where you can dress up your dolly and battle other member's beautiful vixens. Do you have what it takes to rule the runways? Stop by, sign up and start battlin!
This is how it works. You dress your vixen with items you buy from the plaza. You are now given 100 Diamonds and 100,000 Dinero (the sites "currency") to start. Now head to the plaza and start SHOPPING!! Once you have on a style you like, head to the Runways and propose battles to the other wonderfully clad vixens. Now it's time to VOTE VOTE VOTE! Yes that's right, you have the power to influence all the battles except your own. Move up in the ranks as you win! Visit and sign other vixen's Guestbooks and have them visit you to increase your stardom!
All that...completely FREE! Earn more money by voting and playing games. There are bonus games and bonuses for winning that earn you DIAMONDS! So much to do...for FREE! Now if you need more diamonds and need more dinero...or if you need FREE spa treatments, then there are awesome memberships available, but are completely optional!
The people there are amazing and the staff are friendly, helpful and sooo nice! Seriuosly folks, these people are just so welcoming and kind! You can't get what this site..what these people offer you in a online experience! It's not only a phenomenal game, but an awesome community as well!

Head to the plaza and SHOP SHOP SHOP! Check out all the item available! Made by the Runway Staff! Incredible!!
Dress your vixen and put her in a screen test, see what others think!
Then head off to the runways to battle against your fellow vixens! Don't forget to VOTE!
Or for a few diamonds, you can make your own, one-of-a-kind creations in the Project RV!
You can even purchase/rent a house to decorate. Then head to the Auto Mall and purchase a snazzy ride to put in your driveway!
Visit the games often to earn dinero and diamonds so you can...yep you guessed it...SHOP! xD hmmm can u guess one of my fave parts?
And SOOO much more! If all the above isn't enough, there is a forum attached where you can meet some amazing people, play games and discuss ANYTHING! So why not give it a try! Stop by and sign up for FREE. I'm tellin' ya, you won't wanna leave! My username is Stylechix19...See you on the Runways!

This & That
ugh it's approaching midnight and once again here I am...having to get up in a matter of hours, feeling like I drank a pot of coffee ( I don't even drink coffee by the way) bleh...at least Leno is on!
We ate at China Star awhile ago and my fortune cookie popped out one of the truest statements I've ever heard in my life. Of course my husband didn't quite agree....poor dude, you can't fight the cosmic rightness of a fortune cookie fortune! xD It read:
"Don't accept that others know better than you."
Whoop!! I have been telling my kids that for YEARS! And now I have confirmation! *smugness* LOL Btw look to see if you have a China Star Buffet near you...it is THE best! If you don't....well bummer to be you =(...just sayin'...lol

I stumbled across this awesome site from a user on Polyvore with the same name. If you were familiar with Dollwar, it is similar, but much more friendly and the staff is just phenomonal!! Dress up your "vixen" and hit the runways! Get your friends to join and battle them in fashion! Earn dinero (money) and diamonds to expand your wardrobe, buy a house and even a car! Great site, check it out!
What's "IN" for Spring of '09?
We revisit the 1970's and 1980's this season. That's right flashback... Spring promises a jump back with romper jumpsuits and hotpants. Bold bright colors of red, orange, yellow and greens! Metallics and sequins abound! Sheer fabrics for your softer needs. Bows, polka-dots, and scarf belts...and yes folks, maybe a shoulder pad or two! Embellish with huge sunglasses and chunky jewelry...you're sure to look like you
just walked off a New York runway!
